PRN ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR

INTAKE DEPARTMENT

NEEDED FOR PRN

Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art Inpatient facility conveniently located at 9938 Airline Highway and our Outpatient Facility located at 615 Chevelle Court.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for intakes and completing inquiry forms
• Reviews packets for criteria and updates intake logs
• Collects data for QAPI on intakes
• Communicates with physicians and Director of Nursing about possible admissions
• Initiates demographics on face sheets, episodes of care and insurance information for new admits and puts new patient charts together
• Completes insurance verifications as patients accepted by physician

Skills Needed:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Should be able to work with minimal supervision
• Organized and self-disciplined
• Thorough documentation and communication skills

Education/Experience/License required:

• At least two three years of admissions for psychiatric patients experience preferred
