Role: Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist (LAN Design)

Only W2, NO C2C & Local Candidate.

Note: Candidates who have strong Cisco and Aruba networking with some industrial networking as well.

Position Summary:

The Senior Infrastructure Specialist provides LAN engineering design, review, and implementation for capital & local factory projects relating to network infrastructure at the various Factory locations. The Sr Infrastructure Specialist also acts as a technical resource to Client Factories , providing technical network assistance, support, and dissemination of technical information regarding production LANs. This position will be responsible for researching, proposing, and implementing new LAN technologies at the operating Factories.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

• Education: BS degree in related field and/or 5 years of experience.
• Certification(s): CCNA / CCNP / HPE Aruba certifications preferred but not required.

Experience (Years/Type):

• 5 years in technology field in two or more of the following
• Cisco Switches / Routers / Industrial switching
• HPE Aruba Switches / Routers / Industrial Switching
• Firewalls CheckPoint / Fortinet / Cisco
• Wireless LAN controllers Cisco / HPE Aruba
• Mobile Solutions
• Microwave/Laser Bridges
• LAN Network Monitoring devices Solarwinds Orion / Pingdom / Cisco DNA Center / Aruba Central / ThousandEyes / Grafana / NetBrain
• Service Now ITSM

Skills

• Technical competency in CISCO/HPE Aruba routers and switches configuration and support
• Working knowledge of Ethernet network troubleshooting tools and methodologies
• LAN topology design, configuration, and support
• VLAN architecture design, configuration, and support
• CISCO/HPE Aruba Wireless networks, Industrial networks, and implementation of all of the above.
