Apogee is actively seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (AF PEO NC3) at Peterson SFB, MA.

What you'll be doing:

• Supports the Acquisition Program Manager (APM) in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
• Staffs Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES), Monthly Activity Reports (MAR) and support program management and IMP/IMS reviews. 
• Oversees the allocation of resources based on program requirements.
• Manages meetings, calendars, agendas, and briefings, including providing briefings of program status to senior management.
• Determines requirements; develops goals and objectives to accomplish program missions.
• Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs utilizing knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques. 
• Ability to understand various funding types, budges and understand the Central Asset Management (CAM) process.
• Monitors, mentors, and develops lower-level (Senior, Journeyman) Acquisition Support Specialists and other contractor support personnel in accordance with Govt PMO leadership lines of effort, policy, and standard operating procedures.

What you'll need:

• Security Clearance Required: Secret
• One of the following education/experience combinations: 
• Master's degree in Business or related field and 8 years' acquisition experience (10 years' preferred), OR
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 10 years' acquisition experience, OR
• 16 years relevant acquisitions experience in lieu of degree
• Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite software and project management/scheduling software programs such as MS Project. 
• Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System and Defense Acquisition Framework.

Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
• This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
• The base pay for this position is $113,000 to $187,000 across the U.S. There is also a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education.
