Day Shift- 12 hour shifts - 6:00 am to 6:30 pmAPN Staffing is hiring for sitters to work at a skilled nursing facility. This role is vital in maintaining patient safety.
- Experience watching multiple monitors and reporting findings.
- Responsible for performing visual monitoring of inpatient mental health patients, reporting findings and observations to the licensed nurse.
- Assist the patient care team as directed to ensure patient care and unit activities are completed.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and demonstrate good visual acuity.
- High school diploma or GED certification.
- At least one (1) year experience in a patient sitting, preferred.
- CPR certification and Immunization records
- Must have FPCC (fingerprint clearance card)
- You would work 3 days one week and 4 the next. Overtime every other week. Must work every other weekend shift. The patient has dementia, is 90 years old and is dependent on her wheelchair for mobility.
