APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple X-Ray Techs for our client in Portland, OR for a 12-13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

Position Details:

Position Title: X-Ray Tech (Travelers Only)
Pay Rate: $54/Hourly
Work Location: Portland, OR
Shift: Nights 4x9.5 (7PM-4:30AM)
Hours/day: 32 hours/week,
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Certification Requirement: BLS, ARRT, Fluoro(pref)

Job Description:
X-Ray Imaging:

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients using radiographic equipment.
• Adjust and set up imaging equipment to obtain optimal images.

Patient Interaction:

• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort and cooperation during examinations.
• Position patients accurately to obtain the required images.

Radiation Safety:

• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
• Use lead shielding and other safety measures as necessary.

Image Processing:

• Develop and process X-ray films or use digital imaging systems to capture diagnostic images.
• Ensure the quality and clarity of images for accurate diagnosis.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting procedures, patient information, and any special considerations.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess images and provide necessary information for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
