Local Rate-$50 /hr on W2. (without benefits)

Travel Rate: 20 hr (taxable) on W2 $1302/weekly (nontaxable) =$2022(Weekly gross)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients of all ages, specializing in hospital medicine, pediatrics, and critical care. Your expertise in respiratory therapy will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their breathing and overall respiratory function.

Duties:
- Perform assessments and evaluations of patients' respiratory conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and chest physiotherapy
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in pulmonary medicine, including pulmonology and critical care
- Experience working with pediatric patients, including those in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
- Familiarity with medication administration related to respiratory therapy

Requirements:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license/certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
