Also, DaVinci, neuro, hearts, cysto, Gyn, general, trauma - Department covered/ #suits Main OR, cath lab, GI, ER, L&D, clinics (clinic deliver to hospital, SPD processes & then are delivered via courier to clinics) - Experience or 'Must have' skills "Need to be willing to work in all areas of SPD, including decontamination. - Need to have experience working similar sized facilities/departments." - Duties Decontamination, preparation, sterilization, & distribution of surgical instruments, hospital instruments, & medical equipment throughout the facility. Utilizing infection control & safety practices during all phases of the process. - Common equipment to disinfect/common supplies to sterilize "Steris steam sterilizers, Steris V-Pro Some Olympus high disinfectant for GI lab (bonus if experienced with) - Use SPM tracking system" - Is there a Manager/Lead Tech on each shift? There is a supervisor who oversees the department, in addition to the manager. - might be asked to help orient new hires sometimes - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
