Primary Purpose: The voice of the restaurant and the conductor of the guest experience

Key Functions:

1) Greets guests and communicates clearly and effectively

2) Offers our guest exceptional and cleanly service

3) Has extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu

4) Manages cash/receipts and turns them in accurately at end of shift

5) Works as a teammate and assist other employees when they need help

Basic Duties: Proactively greets guests. ‘Hi, welcome to Aplaya’

Responds to tables in a timely manner

Enters all orders accurately to bar and kitchen

Has deep menu knowledge and is aware of ingredients and allergy risks

Checks in with tables accurately

Makes note and is aware of any daily specials and communicates them to guests

Checks with MOD for info on any menu items that are or near out of stock

Communicates with host stand about available tables and reservations

Regular stocking of service station

Completes daily / weekly side work (provided by MOD) daily.

Drops checks at the appropriate time and collects payment

Assists other teammates with tasks when free

Brings in cash daily to use for change. ($40 - coins, 1s and 5s)

Manages cash and CC receipts and turns them in organized and orderly

Communicates efficiently and graciously with kitchen and bar

Wear proper uniform e.g., safe closed toe shoes, hair ties, etc.

Maintains professional conduct at all times, this includes language

Use of cell phones in sight of guests is prohibited

Show up for shifts on time and exhibits a friendly and positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $6.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
