Apis Services is Hiring a YC10362 - PSYCHOLOGIST Near Bethlehem, PA

The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services isseeking Part-Time Psychologist at our Pennsylvania Forensic Associates Program.

The incumbent will meet with clients to facilitate group and individual treatment sessions to develop and execute a treatment plan that emphasizes prevention of delinquent/criminal behaviors and community safety. This role will help clients deal with delinquent/criminal behaviors, deviant sexual arousal, substance abuse, family problems, depression, suicide ideations, stress management, problems with self-esteem, gang involvement, and peer interaction/social skills.

Responsibilities'

  • Complete psychological evaluations and/or specialized forensic screenings (including but not limited to full psychological battery, psychosexual, competency, determination of parental capacity, and/or juvenile violence risk assessments etc.) in accordance with program policy and procedures. This includes providing a written evaluation and summary of their recommendations.
  • The Psychologist will communicate with referral sources to inform of evaluation status/recommendations.
  • Assist in the development, review, and completion of treatment plans as deemed necessary.
  • Provide Court testimony as a representative of CHOR YFS

Minimum Education Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology.
  • PA State Professional License to practice (if applicable, license must be active)
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
