Platform Engineer

Title: Platform Engineer
Duration: year contract with extensions
Rate: 50-90hr (note that this is going to be based on skillset match and years of experience)
Location: 4 days remote/1 day onsite in Orlando, FL
Details:
MUST HAVE
1. Solid foundation of application support and troubleshooting
2. Python or MS SQL
3. On Prem

NICE TO HAVES
1. AWS
2. Development experience

• Vendor Based Software support experience
• Engage as technical point of contact with vendors, peers, and infrastructure operations partners.

• Provide support for multiple levels of testing prior to upgrades or releases of new infrastructure, software, and service layer components.
• Perform daily activities to ensure availability and stability
• Participate in evaluating, developing, and implementing tools and automation to facilitate platform maintenance and administration to ensure operational efficiency, and reliability
