Job Description:
SAP Security Manager
Location: Norfolk (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Employment Length: 3-6 months contract w/ conversion
Pay: $140,000 - $170,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive SAP security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard critical business information and assets.
• Support the management of user access and authorizations within the SAP environment, including assisting with role-based access controls (RBAC), user provisioning, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis.
• Aid in the administration of SAP security functions, including user administration, role maintenance, and security configuration.
• Assist in conducting regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess potential risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with senior team members in responding to security incidents and breaches within the SAP environment, including participating in investigation, containment, and remediation efforts.
• Support efforts to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to SAP security.
• Contribute to training and awareness programs to educate SAP users and stakeholders on security best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in vendor management activities, including collaborating with external vendors and service providers to enhance SAP security capabilities and address emerging threats.
• Support the maintenance of accurate documentation of SAP security configurations, policies, and procedures, and assist in preparing regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about the latest SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices, and assist in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of SAP security controls and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Secret Clearance
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
• Prior experience or coursework related to SAP security administration is a plus.
