Job Overview: This job involves analyzing and characterizing synthetic oligonucleotides within the RNA Chemistry Team, working alongside scientists to gain the necessary analytical skills for characterization.
Primary Job Responsibilities:- Maintain and troubleshoot our advanced analytical instruments to ensure their proper functioning.
- Gain expertise in liquid phase separation techniques and mass spectrometric detection of oligonucleotides.
- Conduct oligonucleotide purity assays using Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) for accurate analysis.
Primary Job Requirements:- B.S. or B.A. equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and up to 1 year of general laboratory experience.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including the MS Office Suite.
- Experience with analytical instrumentations, especially with UPLC and LC-MS, is highly desired but not required.
- Highly motivated to learn and interested in building expertise in analytical characterization with excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
