Job Summary:
The role of the Jacksonville Network System Engineer is to provide network management support along with software development, Information Technology Support and Hardware Engineering support for the Jacksonville Depot programs 44C, Q27/Q29, APY-10, MTS-B and others. The candidate will be responsible for all of the Networking as well as IT administrative role for the Field engineering group out of Jacksonville, FL. The candidate will also be responsible for continued development of the program's Digital Dashboard along with other software development needs. This role will be based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Responsible for making modifications for network requirement as well as software requirements.
• Provide Advanced/expert knowledge with Networking/Information Technology and Software Engineering with minimal oversight from the Manager.
• Providing training to rest of the team and support the knowledge transfer when required.
• Develop software/networking programs that will allow for smoother operations by the team at FRCSE at NAS Jacksonville, FL.
• Provide measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans in order to implement business strategies.
• Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of work area.
• Implementation of the digital dashboard of tracking the status of maintenance not only locally but using Amazon Web Services system to convert the system to cloud for other programs to use.
• Responsible for supporting the external customer and communicating the dashboard system to potential customer that would increase Raytheon's business.
• Liaison with functional leaders as well as Raytheon Leaders and other program staff to ensure all systems / sub-systems are appropriately monitored and supported, with necessary changes defined and/or developed to meet user requirements.
• Will have significant dealings with both internal Raytheon customers as well as external customers such as U.S Navy, Air Force and FMS, DCMA Quality and Program Management from our supported programs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience in Network, System Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering and Software Engineering.
• Previous experience with software and network systems.
• Prior experience managing network and software requirements as well as providing IT Administration support.
• Python and Django coding experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation, specifications, and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of multiple EO/IR systems.
• Strong skills using MMIS and SAP Prism, tracking inventory of consumable and repairable parts for the digital board.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
