Title: Full Stack Java Developer (Mid-Level)

Duration: 6-month Contract to Hire

Location: Dallas, TX - 3x week

Position/Project:

Our client is expanding and taking on some exciting and new projects! The Development Manager is adding a member to the Agile Development Team to work on an enterprise modernization effort. This team will be retiring several legacy enterprise applications to rebuild modern applications with up-to-date technologies using microservices and cloud. We have an immediate need for a Full Stack Java Developer on a collaborative Agile team. The role will involve working with Java, Angular, SQL, and AWS in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern Java
• Deploy applications to AWS cloud environments using CICD pipelines
• Create responsive user interfaces (UI) with Angular, ensuring seamless user experiences
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with backend services
• Provide problem-solving solutions and proactively seek opportunities to reuse or generalize existing services and implementation
• Write efficient queries and manage data integrity using SQL
• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills working with an Agile development team
• Participate in code review sessions for proper code quality
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing as needed
• Technical Environment: Java 8, Angular 14, AWS, SQL, Microservices, and more

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field, or related work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams
• Experience with Java 8
• Experience with Angular 10
• Experience with SQL/RDBMS
• Software Engineering knowledge and understanding of common terminology
• Must be able to work on a W-2 without sponsorship
