Position: Middle Office Support Analyst
Pay: $32-33 per hour
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 5 months contract.
Responsibilities:

• Perform daily trading profit & loss reporting and analysis/attribution.
• Conduct trade capture, systems, and risk management tasks.
• Support all middle office functions for the energy derivatives trading desk, including futures, swaps, options, swaptions, and structured products.
• Pull data sets from production and upgrade environments, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Execute scripted testing and assist with UAT testing on upgrades.
• Run morning checklists, reports, reconciliations, and quality checks.
• Follow test scripts in the test environment, extract results, and compare them to production results.
• Handle morning production tasks, mid-day UAT, and afternoon production tasks.
• Collaborate with P&L and Risk Reporting team, market data team, and trade management team.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional experience, with project management experience in UAT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups, x-lookups, pivots, and data analysis.
• Strong quantitative skills and a data analytical mind.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and comprehend communication effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues, compare data, and develop appropriate solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with PowerBI and SQL.
