Join the premier team at The Apex Racing Lab, the Triangle's leading sim racing and motorsports lounge. We are dedicated to delivering an exceptional entertainment experience through our state-of-the-art sim racing setups and a vibrant atmosphere. We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and contribute to our growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the storefront/bar, ensuring efficient and effective management
• Manage food and beverage service, including alcohol, beer, and wine ordering and forecasting
• Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels
• Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
• Cultivate a team-oriented environment and motivate staff to achieve business goals
• Handle additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
• Embrace and convey the lounge’s passion for sim racing and motorsports to both staff and customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the food and beverage industry
• Strong passion for sim racing or motorsports, with a deep understanding of the community and culture
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to engage with guests
• Excellent leadership abilities with a team player mindset
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for innovative problem solving
• Familiarity with the processes of alcohol, beer, and wine procurement and stock management
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed

Compensation:

• A competitive salary of $65,000 per year
• Generous profit-sharing bonus based on performance
