Apex Plumbing is seeking a reliable, independent, and efficient Traffic Control Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing traffic control activities related to our projects on roads, highways, and construction sites. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety of workers, the public, and traffic flow while our plumbing works are being conducted. You will coordinate with teams, project managers, and relevant authorities to implement effective traffic control measures in compliance with regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of traffic control personnel, including flaggers, to ensure effective traffic management and safety compliance.
• Develop traffic control plans in accordance with regulations and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing traffic control and safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and deployment of traffic control equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction crews, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to schedule and implement traffic control measures effectively.
• Provide training to traffic control personnel on safety procedures, equipment operation, and regulatory requirements.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to minimize accidents and ensure the well-being of workers and the public.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, or incidents affecting traffic flow.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic control activities.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the effectiveness of traffic control measures.
• Address inquiries, complaints, and requests from the public regarding traffic issues.
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for traffic control operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic control or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing traffic control and safety standards.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and make quick decisions.
