Apex Park and Recreation District is Hiring a Summer Camp Supervisor Near Arvada, CO

Apex Gymnastics and Cheer is looking for summer camp staff that are reliable, enthusiastic, organized, positive, and have a passion and experience in coaching children ages 6-12 and supervising or leading high school age coaches. Campers will rotate through events working on and learning skills, participate in group activities, games, crafts, open gym, and meal and snack breaks. The camp supervisor will follow the daily schedule, ensure coaches are rotating on time and are engaged and hands on, set up crafts and games, take attendance and make sure each camper is accounted for and are staying with their group. Make sure coaches and campers are following expectations and ensure overall safety in the gym. There will be staff meetings prior to each camp.

Camps run May 28-August 9

Half day Gymnastics camps are May 27-31 and July 1-3 from 9 am-12 pm and 1-4 pm with shifts from 8:30 am-12 pm and 12:30 - 4pm.

Full day camps are June 3-7, 10-15, July 8-12, 15-19, July 29-August 2, August 5-9 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm with shifts from 8 am-3 pm.

Cheerleading camps are on June 17-21 and July 22-26 from 8:30 am-3:30 pm with shifts from 8 am-3 pm.

Minimum 15 years of age. Must have reliable transportation. CPR strongly preferred. Prior experience with coaching gymnastics or cheer.
