Apex Oaks at Clear Lake is Hiring a Medication Technician Near Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosage and schedule
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration and any observed changes in patient condition
- Assist with physical examinations and other medical procedures as needed
- Provide patient care and support, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Medication Technician or similar credential
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, assisted living facility, or nursing home
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Cerner, Epic, etc.)
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
