AKABA LLC. welcomes reliable and enthusiastic professionals to join us as a part-time ABA Techs or Behavior Therapists to help provide 1-to-1 ABA services in the homes of children diagnosed with Autism (ASD).
We provide ongoing, paid training for professional development including RBT courses and opportunities for BCBA candidate supervision!
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Travel Time Pay
Mileage reimbursement beyond home travel radius.
Experiences as a Paraprofessional, Assistant Teacher, Rehabilitative Assistant, Educational Associate, and/or Direct Support Professionals is highly applicable to this role. Qualifications for the ABA Tech include:
- Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with individuals diagnosed with disabilities
- Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities ( preferably Autism)
- Ability to attend an initial orientation
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week ( after school hours between 3-8 pm )
- Has reliable transportation
- Must be timely and organized
- Ability to work independently
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
Responsibilities: The ABA Tech will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and will be directly responsible for:
- Electronic Data collection
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Implementing skill acquisition programs
- Working with families for effective collaboration on client
- Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
Required education for an ABA Tech:
- High school or equivalent
Required license or certification:
- Drivers License
Job Location: Metro Worcester Area
Required experience for an ABA Tech:
- Working with Kids or Teens: minimum 6 months
