- Facilitate the efficient flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor.
- Work with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate impact to appropriate parties.
- Track expedited and/or key jobs to ensure they remain on track. Provide solutions to realign jobs that are off schedule.
- Provide analysis on potential expedites including impacts on existing schedules.
- Perform as liaison between PM/Sales and Production groups.
- Other duties as requested.
- Required two to three years working in a manufacturing, industrial machining or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to work within the MS Office suite environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and disciplines.
- Professional environment engaged in the support of the manufacturing of components, systems, and service related products.
- Present a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards.
- International Standards Organization (ISO) certified environment.
- Some noise and plastic chips in manufacturing area.
- Safety glasses recommended on the manufacturing floor outside of designated safety corridor.
- Hearing protection recommended in vicinity of machinery.
- Compliance with company safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs.
