Apex is hiring a Program Manager for its Midland, Texas location. The ideal candidate is seller doer that is highly organized and possesses the necessary people and technical skills needed to manage a portfolio of client projects and drive growth.

Your Responsibilities as a Program Manager:

• Seller-Doer with the ability to develop a book of business and manage and grow technical teams.
• Manage programs and provide excellent client management.
• Financial and senior technical management of projects.
• Manage, mentor and train staff and supervise work.
• Actively participate in a culture of safe work practices.
• Write and review proposals and technical reports.
• Define and develop your own professional growth and career goals.

What we're looking for:

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or another related field.
• Professional Certification (PE, PG, PMP).
• 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting.
• Thorough understanding of environmental regulations and processes related to site assessment, remediation, health and safety, compliance and permitting.
• Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and understanding of safe work practices.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving history are required.
