**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in the solid waste industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of areas such as large CDL trucks, diesel engine repair, and/or industrial equipment maintenance.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs including hydraulic system, electrical systems, brake repair, tire service, and diesel engine repair
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on various types of machinery and equipment
- Weld and fabricate components as needed or a willingness to learn
- Service solid waste vehicles as well as other equipment such as a fork lift
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
**Skills:**
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician
- Proficiency in large vehicle, automotive repair and maintenance
- Working knowledge of diagnostic software and other various software programs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Familiarity with maintaining vehicles in a DOT/CDL fleet, including inspections requirements and electronic maintenance records

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
