Your Responsibilities:

• Support initiatives for the setup and commissioning of manufacturing equipment and processes
• Build and debug systems containing electrical control panels, automated test equipment
• Manufacture cabling/wire assemblies, and assemble control cabinets containing electrical components
• Set up and testing of pneumatics and control systems
• Construct and/or modify T-frame extrusions and acrylic panels
• Set up of DC servo motors and related control systems
• Purchasing of parts and materials required for build projects
• Organization and inventory control of build parts

Skills and Qualifications (required):

• Associate degree in the electrical or mechanical-oriented field, or 4 years of mechanical, electromechanical, or manufacturing technician experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to document any discrepancies during equipment assembly and testing
• Wiring experience and electrical knowledge, familiarity with 120v AC
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Familiarity with safety systems and interlocks
• Ability to view and understand CAD models and mechanical drawings and use SolidWorks to view assemblies.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of metric/SAE and conversions
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or pipe fitting.
• Familiarity with standard lab test & measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.

• Good organizational skills.
• Solid computer skills for documentation and tracking (Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, etc.)
• Network and/or programming knowledge
