Primary objectives:

1- Maintain and Develop: identify the needs of classes (online, on-site) and of summer camps, find new locations to teach French, develop the organization's network to implement new groups of students and open new classes,

2- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Nurture and expand strong relationships with schools and organizations, with parents and prospects, and with donors and volunteers,

3- Manage and Supervise Team: in collaboration with the pedagogical coordinator, the Director participates in the management of teachers and offers them guidance,

4- Develop and Manage Communication: write and post about the services of the organization on the website and the social-network and communicate wisely with parents and partners to highlight the good learning environment offered by the organization.

Main responsibilities and duties:

- Looks for potential business deals by contacting prospects (schools and other communities' organizations in South Florida) to open new classes (includes summer camps and online classes - collective or private-),

- Builds and nurtures strong relationships with teachers, school officials, parents and other stakeholders (including Board members),

- Maintains and enhances organization good reputation,

- Schedules and prepares events (social, educational, summer camps),

- Find new teachers and teachers' assistants to grow the potential of the organization and answer to the needs of parents.

- Expand revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations.

Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and French

- Strong business development skills and experience in a related field

- Experience in marketing and ecommerce a plus

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, web apps, multi-media, including video and photo

- Experience in website design and in building visibility on the web (AdWords / social media)

- High interest in education and a good knowledge of DELF / FLAM/ FLE a strong asset

- Must work collaboratively but can initiate, plan, conduct and manage projects alone with strong dedication

- Meet deadlines

- Must be flexible and ready to drive (late or weekend meetings, regular visits of the different classes locations)

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in the Education field or a Bachelor or Master's in Business administration and Marketing preferred or equivalent experience

- Experience in managing or directing projects preferred.
