We are seeking a Waste Treatment Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of waste generated during the PCB manufacturing process. The Waste Treatment Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining waste treatment equipment, implementing waste management procedures, and adhering to environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor waste treatment equipment, including but not limited to wastewater treatment systems, chemical treatment units, and filtration systems, to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.

· Segregate different types of waste generated during the manufacturing process, such as chemical waste, solid waste, and wastewater, and handle them according to established protocols and safety guidelines.

· Handle and dilute chemicals used in the manufacturing process, ensuring proper mixing ratios and safe handling procedures to minimize environmental impact and ensure worker safety.

· Perform regular quality control tests and checks on treated waste to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, documenting results and reporting any deviations or issues.

· Conduct routine maintenance tasks on waste treatment equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements related to waste management activities, maintaining accurate records and documentation as per regulatory standards.

· Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization by adhering to safety protocols, participating in training programs, and raising awareness of best practices for waste management and pollution prevention.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in environmental science, chemistry, or related fields preferred.

- Previous experience in waste treatment, water treatment, or a related field within a manufacturing environment is desirable.

- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to waste management and pollution prevention.

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and withstand exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials.
