The National Sales Specialist is responsible for leading sales and leasing activities, becoming an expert of each market and the competitors within the market, working with marketing to develop strategic promotions through analysis of data and market trends, learning and understanding leasing policies and procedures and communicating those to prospective residents, conducting monthly ILS audits and marketing surveys and actively seeking out new opportunities to build brand awareness and develop business relationships within the market.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Leads sales and leasing activities including in-person and virtual tours, communication with incoming leads, outreach and lead generation.
  • Provides detailed and thorough documentation of all contact with prospective residents from first contact to move-in.
  • Works with management to develop, execute and achieve leasing/occupancy goals.
  • Able to consistently meet or exceed closing ratio expectations (varies by assignment)
  • Able to effectively communicate with prospective residents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Consistently represents Amp Residential as a professional and knowledgeable steward of the brand.
  • Learns and understands leasing policies and procedures and can communicate those to prospective residents.
  • Becomes an expert of each market and the competitors within the market. Can make recommendations on pricing and promotions needed to remain competitive and achieve leasing/occupancy goals.
  • Works with marketing do develop strategic promotions through analysis of data and market trends.
  • Follows company guidelines to provide daily re-cap reports to the executive team and owners. Attends weekly owner calls to provide requested feedback, analysis, and recommendations to achieve leasing/occupancy goals.
  • Conducts Daily Marketing Checklist and recommends improvements needed.
  • Conducts Monthly ILS Audits and Marketing Surveys
  • Exemplifies the company mission of creating communities people want to be a part of.
  • Actively seeks out new opportunities to build brand awareness and develop business relationships within the market.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • 2 years sales and/or customer service experience in property management, retail, hospitality, or related field required.
  • A goal-oriented individual with a passion for sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that set you apart from the competition.
  • Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work will within a team setting.
  • Ability to create relationships and partnerships with businesses and employers in the market.
  • Customer focused mindset with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Property Management Software system(s). Entrata preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Valid Driver's License with valid auto insurance.
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Successfully pass drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with social media.
  • Enjoys extensive travel.
