APARTMENT ADVANTAGE GROUP LLC is Hiring a Master Tech Apartment Maintenance Near Greenville, NC

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our apartment maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, work order management, cleaning, and apartment turnover. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and safety of our properties, ensuring a comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
  • Install and maintain electrical fixtures and appliances.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes and safety standards.

Plumbing:

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations.
  • Maintain and service plumbing systems, including water heaters and garbage disposals.
  • Ensure plumbing work meets all relevant codes and regulations.

HVAC:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation systems.
  • Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet all safety standards.

Work Order Management:

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from residents and management.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Use property management software to track, update, and close out work orders.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and management regarding the status and completion of work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in property management software for tracking and managing work orders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and confined spaces.
