Job Summary

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on the SRE Team will design, develop and maintain tooling, automation and infrastructure that is robust, scalable and efficient to enable high-quality continuous delivery and ongoing operation of our Platform. The Senior SRE will provide technical guidance to and collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team focused on continuously improving the efficiency of the Engineering team and the quality and security of our software stack, identify the root cause of problems in our builds, CI pipeline and deployments, and create robust solutions using industry best practices to achieve highly secure and reliable services. This role reports directly to the VP of R&D.

​​​Role and Responsibilities​

• Develop and maintain pipelines to automatically perform CI/CD up to Production
• Support and extend internal dev/test system monitoring, reporting and alerting
• Harden internal dev/test systems and maintain strong security principles to comply with SOC2/ISO regulations
• Provide technical documentation on processes and how they interact with the tools used to implement those processes
• Implement and maintain centralized secrets management solution
• Write code (ansible, Terraform, docker, etc.) to build automated non-production dev/test environments in many clouds (AWS, Azure, Google, Hetzner, etc.)
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues
• Consistently seek out best practices and help to implement them on the team
• Provide technical and project guidance to DevOps engineers
• Consult with Engineering on DevOps matters such as deployment, configuration, security, quality, reliability, scalability, performance
• Participate in on-call rotation

Qualifications & Education/certification requirements

• 10 years’ experience as DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• AWS Certified DevOps Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
