Description/Comment:

The Client is depleting its available IPv4 addresses due to normal business consumption as well as through large acquisition initiatives. IPv4 address availability on the Client currently stands at less than 10% of its allocated address space. To assist with the management of IPv4 address space, client purchased InfoBlox to allow the consolidation of several tracking systems, but several years into the purchase, the InfoBlox system is not fully configured, and new address allocations are still being requested.

The client is being "dual-stacked" to handle both IPv6 and IPv4 communications so that applications and services can be migrated to IPv6 over time as they are ready. The IPv6 portion of InfoBlox should be complete and only a verification is needed since the IPv6 portion of InfoBlox was built from scratch during the ongoing project.

We are building an enterprise automation tool and creating the necessary automation templates to support the IPv4/IPv6 address changes on the network devices.

Additional Information

This position will work with other Network Architects to define system requirements and design the proposed InfoBlox configuration. After the design is approved, the candidate will update InfoBlox and determine which address ranges are not being leveraged properly so that we can more efficiently manage the IP addresses. This position will be located at the Disney Information Services Center and will be required to be onsite three days a week.

Basic Qualifications

3 years of hands-on experience with the InfoBlox IPAM tool.

5 years of experience in network configuration or administration, deploying and maintaining highly resilient and scalable distributed LAN and WAN network architecture in critical production service environments.

Working knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN topologies & platforms, routing protocols, current data center architectures, DNS/DHCP, IPAM, multicast, VRF, QoS, etc.

Experience working in a large enterprise environment

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to manage initiatives including detailed planning, process management, and documentation
Architecting world-class, large-scale data networks for global enterprises that maximize security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

TOP SKILLS

1. Hands-on experience with the InfoBlox tool set.

2. IPv6 migration experience is desired.

3. 5-7 years of networking experience - automation experience is a plus.

4. Experience in large multi-national/large enterprise corporations.

5. Communication skills and dealing with change management - knowing and articulating how to make changes without disrupting production.
