Order Picker (Night Shift) 

Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Reports to: Director of Logistics

Date: August 2020

SummaryThe Order Picker will accurately retrieve stock to fill customer orders and transport items to the shipping desk for packing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced Shipping environment in a growing company. This is the last point of contact as we ship out our amazing products to our customers!

Essential Functions

• Receives orders from the order desk and retrieves goods from warehouse.
• Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects collected goods
• Delivers materials for packing and updates computer ordering system
• Uses an order-picker truck to pull orders when needed
• Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Competencies

• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.

Preferred Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of six months experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
