AO Services LLC is Hiring a Project Estimator Near Tempe, AZ

About us:

AO Services is a rapidly growing multi-state General Contractor specializing in multifamily interior and exterior renovations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately estimating project costs and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise in construction estimating and project management will contribute to the success of our projects.

Duties:

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects using an MSExcel based Project Estimation Workbook

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements

- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and sales reps to gather necessary information for estimating purposes

- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential cost factors (Walk Potential Jobs)

- Assist in the preparation and delivery of Sales Proposals

- Track Change Orders

- Other duties as required

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques

- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Proficiency in using MS Excel (Intermediate)

- Working knowledge of MS Word

- Solid understanding of cost control methods in construction projects

- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders including clients and Project Managers

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
