**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with instructing music classes with children. Knowledge in musicals and theory to educate and inspire students in this field of art. This is a by-contract position, not full-time or part-time.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement a theatre curriculum that covers a range of techniques and mediums

- Instruct students on the principles of performance for all ages including musicals and theory

- Conduct demonstrations and workshops on various activities related to the field

- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field -OR- over 3 years of working in the field with references

- Previous experience teaching art at the K-12 level or higher education institutions. MOST PROGRAMS WILL INVOLVE K-8 for schools

- If you are more interested in teaching adults, we do offer adult programs as well

- Proficiency in tools designated for each session.

- Some knowledge of music history, theory, and contemporary practices

- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
