Job Summary

• The Logistics & Materials Mgmt Technician is responsible for operational tasks performed in a warehouse or yard environment: issuing, receiving, and counting inventory items, locating/placing items in the appropriate bin/rack locations, and manages material control and security.
• The incumbent performs operational tasks at the warehouse/yard facilities associated with MRO inventory operations, critical spares, tubulars, and other oilfield materials.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products, and inventory accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts on monthly basis to ensure accurate inventory records and reconciles differences.
• Works in conjunction and communicates with logistics providers to arrange collection and shipments of orders.
• Assists with the preparation and distribution of shipping documentation.
• Communicates regularly and proactively with internal stakeholders regarding status of shipments.
• Directly responsible for warehouse management EHS programs, promotes safe working environment, and ensures reporting procedures for incidents are followed.
• Required to be present at assigned yard or other facilities in the operational area during working hours to support the business and provide oversight of material management activities.

Skills

• Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently within set deadlines.
• Intermediate computer skills are required, and SAP knowledge is preferred.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are required.
• Forklift And Equipment Operation Skills Preferred
• Team player and effective communicator
• Ability to speak and write English is required.

Education

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.

Experience

• 3-4 years of related inventory and material control experience
• Experience working within a materials control/warehouse environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.37 - $36.58 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
