Job Summary

Medical Assistant / Wellness Coordinator will assist Physicians and Nurse Practitioners with their Functional Wellness patients, including but not limited to check ins, assisting with lab orders/results, refills, phone calls, etc.

Position will also assist Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and RNs with aesthetic patients, including but not limited to check ins, photos, numbing, blood draws and procedure assistance.

Responsibilities and Duties

Schedule follow up patients.

Schedule labs and specialty labs.

Perform phlebotomy for PRP.

Process PRP and PRF.

Take phone calls from all wellness patients - answer questions about becoming a new patient and all questions from existing patients.

Take supplement orders and process them for patients.

Perform IM injections.

Weight, measure, BP/vitals for wellness patients and HCG patients and assist with weekly check in for HCG patients.

Perform PA and refills of medications.

Keep supplement and all wellness product inventory and assist with ordering.

Assist with IV nutritional therapy.

Submit needed info, labs, orders for patients.

Assist with front desk when needed.

Assist with marketing/social media for wellness.

Perform admin duties when needed.

Assist Dr. Watkins with scheduling and other duties as requested.

Assist with sauna patients when needed.

Assist with aesthetic patients, including but not limited to check ins, photos, numbing, blood draws and procedure assistance.

Qualifications and Skills

HS diploma

BA or higher

Medical Assistant, LPN or RN license in Missouri

2 years of medical office, medical spa or similar experience required

Exceptional patient customer service

Medical terminology, EMR, IM injection experience preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
