Summary:

The Gate Worker fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by providing excellent customer service, monitoring entry and exit points, managing ticket sales, and maintaining orderliness among spectators.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Supports and adheres to the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
• Monitor entry and exit of spectators
• Ticket validation, processes and sells entry tickets
• Assists guests with questions and navigating property
• Ensure that ticketing equipment and supplies are maintained and operational
• Notifies higher level management of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely manner

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

License and Credentials

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver license
• Valid vehicle insurance

Minimum Knowledge and Skills: 

· Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team;

· Must have good written and verbal skills;

· Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
