JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Development Manager shall be proficient in most of the following: due diligence, design, entitlements, design development, construction documents, construction management and job close-outs for current and prospective development opportunities. This role requires both attention to detail, management skills and strong communication with internal and external parties. This role is for an individual with a passion for real estate development who is prepared to handle a broad array of duties. Design, risk management, negotiations, strategy, and research will be part of every day.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform property financial feasibility study and a project risk analysis.

2. Prepare Entitlement Applications, attend meetings, do community outreach.

3. Prepare Financing Applications, work through financial models, help with deal structuring.

4. Support project design in collaboration with design professionals.

5. Construction period management including RFIs, PCORs, COs, budgeting, contractor oversight.

7. Coordinate and manage timelines, budgets, consultants, contracts and third parties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 5-10 years in the Real Estate industry and related field.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Bluebeam

· Strong ability to read and review construction drawings.

· Strong processing skills with attention to detail is required.

· Must have the ability to work independently.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering or Business referred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $127,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
