Antoine's Famous Cakes in Gretna, LA is looking for decorators to join our 28-person strong team. We are located on 1300 Stumpf Blvd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- *Design, prepare and decorate cakes according to customer specifications. *Clean work area and perform other cleaning tasks, such as: keeping icing buckets clean and making sure bags are neatly stored. *Adhere to health and safety regulations by maintaining product freshness and sanitation. *Provide courteous service to customers, when necessary.
Qualifications
**Only experienced cake decorators need apply. Please read qualifications below**
- *Looking for someone with at least 10 year of experience. No hobbyists, please. Applicant can come in to our store to complete our paper application in order to begin the hiring process with an interview and decorator session. *Applicant must have experience writing on cakes, creating roses, rosettes, sweet peas, and other standard confections. *Proper piping techniques, creativity and good work ethic required. *Applicant must be able to come in and demonstrate their ability to complete a custom design cake from start to finish. *Hourly rate will be based on decorator's skills.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $13.00 - $20.00/hour.
