Job Overview:

We are seeking to add a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately processing medical claims and ensuring timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing procedures, coding systems, and medical terminology.

Duties:

- Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies

- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials

- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the billing system

- Process payments from insurance companies and patients

- Prepare and send patient statements

- Assist with medical collections as needed

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or a related field

- Proficiency in medical coding systems (ICD-10)

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
