Job Description:

Onsite System Administrator

We are actively seeking a Systems Administrator with a specialized focus on virtualization technologies. In this role, you will play a key part in providing support for Windows, Linux, and custom software applications, ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure the organization is compliant with cybersecurity requirements.
• Conduct regular security audits.
• Manage VoIP systems, ensuring smooth communication across the organization.
• Manage and optimize virtual environment to ensure smooth virtualization operations.
• Administer printer networks, ensuring seamless printing operations across the organization.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, hardware, and software systems.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to enhance performance and security.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
• Regularly test and validate backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and server administration.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and security measures.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (XenServer, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated comfort with heights and the ability to work at elevated positions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
