Anti-Pesto Bugkillers is Hiring a Customer Care Specialist I Near Largo, FL

We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist who will be the vital link between our company and our current and potential customers. You should have the ability to accept ownership for effectively facilitating customer issues, complaints, and inquiries, keeping customer happiness at the core of every decision and behavior.

Locally owned and operated since 1988, Anti-Pesto is trusted with protecting the health and property of businesses and homeowners throughout the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg/Central Florida area.

Skills and attributes we are seeking include:

  • Handle a lot of inbound and outbound calls from current and prospective customers
  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Ask qualifying questions to confirm needs and match to Anti-Pesto solutions
  • Seize opportunities to up-sell services when they arise (if needed)
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going above and beyond
  • Keep records of all conversations in the company database in a comprehensible way
  • Dedication to improving your knowledge and skills
  • Bi-Lingual a plus
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Intermediate/Accurate typing
  • Strong computer skills are required - Word, Excel (Google Suite), Email, and accurate typing 

Our requirements include:

  • The skill to quickly learn and use new technologies
  • A friendly phone presence and a positive outlook
  • One year of experience and/or training in a customer service role preferred
  • Effective social and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and work independently
  • A/P, A/R, database management, and collections experience preferred but not required
