About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students near St. Charles, Maryland. The caseload will consist of K-12th grade students and it is anticipated to include 40-50 students total. Join the supportive and welcoming team where you can truly make a difference for students with communication disorders! The position responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations to assess speech and language disorders that impact academic achievement.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's specific needs.
  • Delivering direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students.
  • Working in close partnership with classroom teachers and interdisciplinary teams to support students' speech and language development.
  • Continuously monitoring student progress through observations and data collection, allowing for necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Maintaining transparent and regular communication with caregivers, offering updates and strategies to foster continued growth at home.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th grade children.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid MD SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
