About the role:
  • Assesses students' speech-language abilities and develops treatment plans
  • Delivers direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs
  • Develops goals and conducts assessments in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
  • Prior knowledge of AAC modalities and implementation techniques
  • Passion for supporting complex communicators and flexibility in your approach
  • Willingness to collaborate and engage with all key stakeholders including colleagues, school administration, and caregivers
  • Ensures that evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery strictly adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Embraces additional responsibilities that contribute to our collective mission
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings is preferred
  • A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) through ASHA
  • A valid Maryland SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
