AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher who will support 5th-8th grade students for a wonderful school in Plymouth, MI. They opened in 2012, have over 775 students, and an amazing leadership team to help you succeed. We are looking for a professional who can work the 22-23 school year and will be excited to be a part of the community within the school.
Schedule:Full Time, Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities:- Present material in engaging ways to reach students at various levels
- Be creative! Adapt lesson plans and teaching materials to reach various abilities
- Communicate educational plans to parents, teachers, service providers, and others involved with the students' progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and service providers to ensure each student's needs are met
- Use relevant technology to support, differentiate and enhance instruction
- Create a safe and welcoming learning environment for students
- Assess and monitor student progress and performance as related to their IEP goals
- Maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and/or legal guardians
- Participate in building meetings as directed by the building principal
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University
- Must hold valid state teaching license
