School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our new therapy services team to support students in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Clinician will provide in-person direct services and progress reports/IEPs for a blended caseload of K-12 students. As the dedicated SLP, you'll be an essential part of the team, working closely with students, families, and educators to provide quality speech and language services.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate student’s speech-language abilities to make eligibility determinations, prepare treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention
Provide high-quality direct & indirect speech-language therapy services to students according to the students’ IEPs
Conduct assessments, translate, and analyze assessment results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
Use professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to make practice decisions
Make deuterations regarding discharge/dismissal from therapy and appropriate accommodations
Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
Collaborate with all key stakeholders to support students’ communication and participation in the academic curriculum
Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines
Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th grade children.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
