Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to team up with us and create positive change in the lives of elementary students at a therapeutic school in Highland Park, Illinois. In this unique role, you will be supporting students with SEL and behavior disabilities. - Provide targeted support (whole group, small group, 1:1) to identified elementary school students.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.
- Advocate for students’ holistic well-being(social, emotional, academic).
- Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.
- Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed
- Facilitate IEP meetings
- Develop and track interventions in order to understand IEP effectiveness.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
- LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience in a PreK-5 setting preferred
