School Social Worker

As we continue to expand, we immediately seek a driven School Social Worker to join our team for an in-person full-time role in Naperville, IL for the 2023-2024 school year. The chosen SSW will provide support between two Middle Schools, in two Self-Contained classrooms within the district. 

Position details:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday.
• Work between two Middle Schools within the district.
• Support students in grades 6th-8th with a variety of eligibilities in two Self-Contained classrooms.
• Collaborate and receive support from a School Social Worker, a Service Coordinator, and two Guidance Counselors who also work in this district.
• Collaborate with students, colleagues, and families to best support each student's needs.
• Attend and participate in IEP assessments, observations, and formal reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Social Work
• Active PEL with School Social Work Endorsement
• Prior experience working with elementary ages students as a school-based social worker preferred
