Position Overview:
We have an immediate, full-time, School Adjustment Counselor opening for the 2022-23 school year. In this position, the School Adjustment Counselor will be supporting a caseload of high school students grades 9th-12th. In a highly supportive, collaborative, and community focused school, a position doesn’t get better than this!

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of high school students through social, emotional, and academic enrichment programs
- Advocate for the emotional, social, and academic wellbeing of students
- Participate in the development and continuous updating of the student’s Individual Education Plan
- Collaboration with staff, families, and community resources
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student safety and success
- Support student goals as described by their IEP or 504
Qualifications:
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
- Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License in School Social Worker/ School Adjustment Counselor All Levels
- Candidates are subject to background checks including CORI Clearance and Fingerprinting
