AnthroMed Education is Hiring a Full-Time Speech Pathologist Near Lansing, MI

Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist 

AnthroMed Education is an organization dedicated to partnering with Speech-Language Pathologists in schools throughout Michigan. AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2022-2023 school year who will support students on-site in two elementary schools right in Lansing, MI. Currently we have a need for an SLP to support 2 elementary schools. We are looking for a professional who will be excited to be a part of the community within the school and is passionate about using their skills to make real, positive change.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adapt communication style to meet the needs of students
  • Demonstrate best practices, inclusion, problem-solving, and proactive communication
  • Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to students, according to their IEPs, 504, or intervention plan
  • Provide direct, individual, or small group instruction to students based on individual goals
  • Develop treatment plans (IEPs/504 and intervention plans) that are strength-based
  • Conduct assessments and analyze results to determine strengths and areas of concern in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, oral motor skills
  • Assist teachers in supporting their students with speech and language delays/disorders
  • Collaborate with teaching teams to develop curriculum modifications and strategies in order to support your students
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Credentials:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • experience within a K-3 setting is preferred but not required
