POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead, Group Home is a crucial leadership role at Anthony's Villa, responsible for overseeing the well-being and overall progress of children in our group home and outpatient services. The role entails creating, implementing, and monitoring programs that align with our mission of creating a brighter future for everyone. The Lead, Group Home will work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners to ensure that all services are centered around promoting children being at the lowest level of care possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home programs, including counseling, IHBT, TBS, PSR, and CPST.
2. Lead, coach, and mentor staff members, fostering a culture that reflects the organization's values: Build, Respect, Integrity, Growth, Health, and Teamwork.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of programs and make data-driven decisions.
4. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Anthony's Villa policies.
5. Develop and manage budgets for the group home, ensuring resource allocation aligns with organizational objectives.
6. Conduct regular meetings with staff to review performance metrics, set objectives, and identify areas for improvement.
7. Advocate for the children under our care, working closely with families, schools, and community organizations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in youth services, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
3. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing child welfare and mental health services.
4. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

1. The role may require moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
2. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
3. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
4. Must pass background checks and other screenings.
